This girl from Hoevelaken swapped her village-life in 2013 for an adventure called CODARTS, the Conservatorium of Rotterdam, to study singing and songwriting. From as long as she can remember, Maaike loved singing more than anything else. Some say she does not think in words, but in sounds.

At the age of 8, she joined the Dutch National Children’s Choir and sang with, amongst many other events, the Berliner Philharmoniker in Berlin.

In 2011, she won the 538 Demo Duel, a talent show organized by Radio 538, which meant her winning song was recorded professionally and played on the radio.

Over the years, Maaike Adegeest has recorded several songs with various friends and colleagues from the music scene. Also, she has shown her talent in theaters, including De Lieve Vrouw in Amersfoort.

This girl carries the same surname as our singer/songwriter Maaike, which is no coincidence of course. Nienke, older sister of Maaike, lives in Rotterdam and has graduated from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute in the direction of International Fashion & Management.

While once having the same singing and performing ambitions as her younger sister, she now rather stays at the background, making sure that the products and services One of a Tune offers will be as close to perfect as possible.
